1.What is EAI ?
Enterprise Application Integration is an application of technology to make unrestricted interaction and sharing of data and business processes among any connected applications and data sources in the distributed networks across enterprises, organizations .
Basically it bridges gaps between various systems and enables dataflow among heterogeneous systems. Or we can think it as an integration framework composed of a collection of technologies and services which form a middleware to enable integration of systems and applications across the enterprises.
